The Jewels in King’s Crown
King St Metalsmiths has only been open for a year, but the owners Gillian

the Jewellery industry.
Both traditionally-trained jewellers, they have worked with some of the biggest
names in jewellery, and have now opened their workshop at 522 King St
There is a small gallery space with examples of their ranges of styles and
materials, however the space is an open-plan jewellers’ workshop, where clients

Gillian and Vince are both passionate artisans, committed to quality design,
craftsmanship and service. Their work utilises new technologies as well as
traditional metalworking techniques.

From them, Gillian and Vince design new treasures that will be loved and worn,
keeping the sentimentality of the story behind the old pieces.
With the cost of gold being so high, it’s the perfect way to have a custom-made
piece for yourself or your loved one, using gold or silver you already have.
Through sketching and 3d modelling during the design phase, you will be able to
visualise exactly what the piece looks like, and make any changes you would like,
before the piece is created in your choice of metal.
While the workshop is currently closed due to the pandemic, Gillian and Vince are
still able to work online with you to design your perfect piece.
