There’s a new spot for crispy, crunchy, soul-soothing chicken in town — and it’s landing right in the heart of Marrickville this weekend.

Pappa Flock, the much-loved Aussie-owned eatery known for its American-style chicken tenders and house-made lemonade, is opening its ninth Sydney restaurant on Saturday, 14th June. To mark the occasion, they’re throwing a launch party with a stack of tasty giveaways and a big welcome for the Inner West community.

If you’ve been looking for an excuse to gather your mates and line up for some seriously good chicken, this is it. Pappa Flock is giving away a FREE Flock Box to everyone in line at their new Marrickville store by 12pm on opening day (June 14th). It’s their way of saying thank you for the incredible support they’ve had at their recent openings in Bondi Junction and Rouse Hill — where, believe it or not, diehard fans queued from 5am!

“The Marrickville community has so much heart, and we’re stoked to be joining such a vibrant food scene,” says Rachel Korbel, Pappa Flock’s Chief Marketing Officer. “This isn’t just about opening a store — it’s about becoming a part of what makes the neighbourhood special.”

And it’s not just about the chicken. The first 50 customers through the doors will score limited-edition Pappa Flock merch — including a football jersey and tote bag designed by NSW artist Brent Smith.

There's also a sweet deal available on Sunday. Anyone grabbing a meal on Sunday will get a free upgrade to one of Pappa Flock’s freshly-squeezed lemonades — made with 2,500 lemons squeezed daily across their stores.

Local flavour, made fresh every day

For Head Chef Eddie Cofie, it’s the fresh, hands-on kitchen prep that makes all the difference. “We hand-bread our chicken tenders in-store each morning, and our famous lemonade is squeezed fresh daily. It’s simple, good food made properly — and we can’t wait for Marrickville locals to give it a go.”

You’ll find the new Pappa Flock at 276 Marrickville Road from this Saturday. Be there by midday to get amongst the giveaways, good tunes, and plenty of crispy tenders.
