The Beer, Footy & Food Festival celebrates a decade on the hill at Henson Park, Saturday July 18th.
Following a hugely successful weekend at North Sydney Oval in May, the Beer Footy & Food Festival is returning to its spiritual home at Henson Park on Saturday, July 18th, celebrating 10 years of beer, food, footy, and suburban chaos on one of Sydney’s most iconic hills.

Over the past decade, the Beer Footy & Food Festival has grown from a local rugby league day, into one of Sydney’s most loved annual sporting events. This year’s headline match will see the Newtown Jets, who have called Henson Park home since 1936, take on the Newcastle Knights.
And the entertainment doesn’t stop when the whistle blows. Returning favourites Pro Wrestling Australia (PWA) bring their larger-than-life ringside action to the hill, alongside the now-infamous Streaker Bullrush - where brave volunteers attempt to sprint across the field while avoiding a chasing pack of security guards.
Alongside all of that, there’s a huge lineup of craft brewers, food vendors, DJs, family activities, with thousands expected to pack the hill for the anniversary celebration. When it comes to beer, footy and a proper day on the hill - Henson Park is where the Beer Footy & Food Festival began. Get you tickets HERE.
