Brigidine College’s 2026 Excellences Scholarships Are Here To Enable Gifted Students To Turn Their Passions Into Purpose, And Excellence Into Impact.

Brigidine College, located at 325 Mona Vale Rd, St Ives, is now inviting applications for its 2026 Excellence Scholarships. A program designed to support and inspire outstanding students in the fields of Drama, Music and Sport.

These prestigious scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate exceptional talent

and a strong commitment to their area of expertise. Open to both current and prospective

students, the Excellence Scholarships offer more than financial support, they create a pathway for young people to thrive, grow and contribute in a meaningful way to all aspects of life at Brigidine College.

At the heart of the program is Brigidine’s commitment to empowering students through

cocurricular endeavour. Whether it’s centre stage in the theatre, playing the piano or

representing the College on the sporting field, each scholarship recipient is nurtured to excel not only in their discipline, but in their academic and personal development as well.

“The Excellence Scholarships are about recognising talent and creating opportunities for

young people to flourish,” says College Principal, Mr Shane Hogan. “They are an invitation

for students to step forward and embrace all that Brigidine has to offer.”

Scholarship recipients benefit from a robust support system, including mentorship from

senior staff and dedicated scholarship reviews each year. These annual reviews help to ensure each student is progressing, achieving goals and actively contributing to College life.

With a broad cocurricular program and diverse curriculum, Brigidine provides the ideal

environment to balance high-level performance with academic success. Students are

encouraged to pursue their passion while developing their strengths and character within a

vibrant and inclusive school community.

Applications are competitive and assessed on the strength of the student’s application, recent school reports, and for Drama and Music applicants, an audition and interview is part of the process. Applications close Friday 29 August 2025
