Two Monthly Markets Now Anchor Maroubra Weekends, Blending Beachside Energy With Indoor Community Stalls
Launched in May 2024, the Maroubra Beach Markets has quickly become a favourite with locals; fresh produce, handmade goods, great coffee, and more, all enjoyed in one of Sydney’s most beautiful locations. Now, due to strong local demand, Randwick City Council has added a second monthly market.
The new Heffron Park Markets runs on the third Sunday of each month at Heffron Park’s undercover netball stadium - the perfect location whether it’s rain, hail or shine. Running from 8am to 2pm, it brings the same mix of fresh produce, artisan stalls, vintage finds, fashion, homewares and street food, just with a cosy indoor setting.
The Maroubra Beach Markets will continue to run on the first Saturday of each month, 8am to 2pm at Broadarrow Reserve, and continue to feature more than 100 stalls, live music and plenty of family-friendly energy.
Together, the two markets give locals a simple rhythm: one Saturday by the beach, one Sunday at Heffron Park - both packed with the kinds of stalls and local makers that you genuinely look forward to seeing each month.
It’s a small but meaningful shift that reflects something bigger happening across Randwick - a real appetite for local shopping, community connection, and supporting small businesses close to home.
